Btw about the poll. You can destroy claymores with the goauld knockback. Think i've done it without the explosion causing me dmg. Of course they have rediculous range and will detonate even if you see it planted and run the other way (+5m beforehand). So they usually explode the second you see them, but occasionaly you will get lucky and not die. Try knocking em back.

New version is up.
This one fixes some issues on the website and brings minor modifications to the design.

This version also brings you a new signature template (for all you minimalists here):



As you can see the image is transparent and from this version on, sig generator now also supports transparent PNG images.

This means that you can expect even cooler signature templates in the future

I have a question:

I have a question, I have a few ID's that match some of my members ID's from Firesky. Problem is, I cant generate a sig just with the ID. I even tried taking the ID, signing in on the website and generate a new sig with a new ID, but that didn't work. It didnt reset itself.

Either way, is there an easy way to input a ID and get a sig?

Nvm, new issue:
I generated a sig for myself, and the info is wrong. Foxandthehen also generated a sig, and got the same one I did. Neither of us have the stat's that is being generated by the sig.

The problem has been fixed as noted in this thread.

There are many account activation emails bouncing back to my inbox.

If you register on the website and don't receive the confirmation email, please post your username here and one of the staff will active your account manually.

I have changed the SMTP server, so now there should be less problems related to "unreceived confirmation email" (if you still have problem receiving the confirmation email, post your username in this thread and account will be activated manually).

There is also another change at the backend which will probably speed up loading signature images a bit.

In the previous version, signature images were regenerated every half hour even if your stats has not changed.

This means that if your stats has not changed, signature image was downloaded again anyway, because the file last modification time was changed and browser downloaded the "new" image (old image in your browsers cache would be just fine, since your stats has not changed).

if you just edit it, then no one knows there is anything new... so keep on with the double even TRIPLE posts... but if you go quadruple... you may suffer the consequences.

Poll #2 results and the clan pages idea

Second poll is now over.

Judging by the results, the most desired new feature are "Assist Points" (45%) and "Option to switch faction in game" (25%) which is no unexpected, because both of these features are almost essential to any kind of online shooter.

In the new poll, we are asking you what do you think about the clan pages idea - a new feature which will be implemented if there is enough interest.

Here is a brief description what would the clan pages include...

* Each registered member can create a clan (clan name, tag and a website must be provided by the user)
* The user that creates the clan is the clan founder and can add new or delete existing clan members (clan members are other registered users of the website)
* Founder can assign every clan member a position (leader, co-leader, member)

Every clan would be provided with a special "clan page", which would at the beginning contain the following information:

* Clan members page - a page which lists all the clan members (member username, position, location, link to his stats summary, link to his signature image (if enabled), kills, deaths and exp),
* Clan statistics page - page with detailed clan statistics (member with the most exp / kills, the most popular map my total played time, etc.)
* ...

The clan pages would be public so you could show others how 1337 your clan and clan members are

Later on, when more clan would be created, I could implement clan leaderboards (sexy charts included), so you could show others that your are a member / founder of the top #1 SGR clan!

Please think carefully before casting your vote, because I would rather spend time developing other new features if this one would be only used by one or two clans.

P.S. #1: This would by no mean be a replacement for a "normal clan page", only (hopefully) useful additional to it

I would like the assist idea to come true. But please in this construct call clans commands

As for the commands page. I'm up for that. But saying that, to me when you have private pages, it takes something away from the community gathering here.

clan pages sounds good. But there is this other guy Zylek (on the forums) he is doing something called "The command center" and I would like it if there was just one location for a clan forum page like thing... try contacting him to see if you can provide a link on your site to it and maybe integrate the stats into it or something

I'm pretty sure my stats aren't tracking properly. Went on last night for a few rounds and got two 16 rounds and a couple of 6s and 7s but when i checked i only got ~20 kills added on. Onto that my jaffa, goa'uld and comando kills don't seem to track at all and only half the round i play as a scientist seem to track. Soldier seems to be working ok though.

That is most likely Stargate Resistance related issue (nothing to do with SGRstats.com).

Please see the the thread with title Are stats messed up? (you are not the only one who is experiencing this problem).

Appologies, i had it in my head that that issue had been fixed when apparently it hasn't.

Sorry Asz, but clans are clans in SGR, not commands; that's an SGW term

mine wasnt lettin me register, but your new updates have fixed that. finally just got registered

just awesome work on that stat tracker. i look very forward to more things to come to sgrstats. a great site already, tht will continue to improve, nice job guys

There were some problems with outgoing mail server a few days ago so some confirmation emails were not received, but I confirmed most of those accounts manually and I changed the mail server yesterday, so the problem should now be gone.

And as always, your suggestions are more then welcome and desired.

Post your ideas and if they are interesting and possible to implement, we will for sure consider them for future releases.
