Do you use custom skins?

How many of you use custom skins to launch the video game?

Just so you know you can find all (that i know of) the skins at:

The current skins are:
Hatak Vessel Skin
Time Masters Clan Skin
Dial the Gate Skin
Atlantis Skin
Stargate Universe Skin
Stargate Resistance Face-off Skin
The System Lords Clan Skin
Stargate Universe Clan Skin
Also there is one link to Rocla's Installer with his skin.

I'm in the process of making the SGUK-1 clan's skin, so I don't use one yet. Lol.

Well I use my SGGamingInfo Skin

. Should be out sometime in the future when I feel it looks nice enough.

i don't. when i first heard about a skinnable interface, i thought it was going to be the actual game window... the galaxy page, class page, etc. if that were the case i'm sure i would design a bunch of my own. but since it's just the launcher, i don't see any point since i see that screen for maybe 2 seconds.

Im using the SBGame.exe directly because that 2 second delay it is looking for patches and blocks the "play" button annoys me.

Patches are not frequently enough to look for them 3 times a day.

I would use custom launcher skins, but there is none i like and i aint gonna spend a week creating my own ..

but fairplay to u who have took the time to do it... but who cares on how it looks on start up... i just want to flash flash kill some people...

and it will take longer to load up as u prop increased the file size , if u knwo what i mean

I wouldn't have a clue as to how to change the default skin and couldn't be bothered to try and figure it out. writing code is not something I particularly have a grasp of.

what would you like to see? i'll see if i can whip something up.

fyi: it took me about 2 hours to make the Hatak Vessel Skin

if you use one that is already made then you don't have to write any code. just have to drop the folder into the correct place

boy you said it! i thought the same thing, i was think it was something really cool, specialty the way it was hyped, then when i found out it was for the launcher it was highly disappointing!

so i totally agree with you , don't usually even see it for 2 seconds. i mean the info on it is pointless, i have 3 other computers and 5 extra screens to have forums other websites what ever up while in game, i can get all that info and more from them, so why sit there at launcher and read stuff when i can be playing and reading stuff on other systems.

i am sure i will be reamed by the "SGR elite core" if you know what i mean?
