You guys don't want a real Stargate
game then. Go play some crappy mod, and get your fix.

Just because SGR is supposed to be set after season 10? Wow.. Games are meant to take the best elements of the canon to make an enjoyable experience. It sounds like you just want to live the show, go tour the studio or something, lol. __________________

SGR takes place in a theoretical
Season 14 or 15 of SG1, more than enough time for the midway
station to be rebuilt and Atlantis to return to Pegasus. Pegasus is
still filled with all kinds of goodies left behind by the Ancients.
Goodies which are tens of thousands of years more advanced than the
ones found in the Milky Way. Also, we have obligations to planets that
we have signed treaties with in Pegasus.

No, you are wrong. The Pegasus tech
was thousands of years OLDER. The lived in Pegasus before living in the
Milky Way.

The midway station would be an awesome map though. I agree that it would be the perfect map to have both teams advance through a stargate. But given the plot at the end of SG-1 and SG:A I don't think that would work too well. Although, it looks like we have a pretty epic map coming this month, so I'm not really complaining. __________________

but seriously, 1) they could have rebuilt midway 2) i do want a REAL stargate game, and yet i still dont mind that the touchstone seems to have grown a little since i last saw it a few weeks ago. 3) who cares. ps. you are wrong about the Anqueetas. easiest way to tell is that destiny started out from earth and then seeded pegasis after the milky way. check out the map in the first SGU episode if you dont believe me. the story goes that as they, along with the ori, were the first evolution of humans, they lived together, but after falling out with the ori they came to earth to get away from them. some time went by and about 5 to 10 millions years ago the 'soon to be latiens' went to pegasis to escape a deadly plague on earth. Then some came back and stuff... basically ascended and/or dispersed. __________________

A midway station map would be doable, even though it was out of commission, and Atlantis came home. Dunno what the final resolution of the city will be in the new movie, for instance. And there's no reason why they might not want to maintain a connection to that galaxy, its resources, and human population. Midway could be rebuilt ,and programmed to connect to a different world in Pegasus. |

why did they put a time period to
this? i wouldn't mind if this had just been different battles from all
throughout the SG-1 show. That way we could have a more diverse map
base. I say get rid of the "story" and just make it fun with cool maps.
Doesn't need a timeline.
@Fox: i really admire your devotion to watch 2 episodes a day! Wish i had the time to. Stupid school On a completely different note, maybe FireSky could work on a BSG game too? please? __________________
