The SGW maps look awesome, but the sheer size of them means you can't have the level of detail expected in a shooter, while the SGR maps are much more detailed. Never fear, all sorts of map goodness is on the way. New maps, new play styles on existing maps, etc. |

I would assume you would block
doorway's and change it up a bit
Make it so the gate room sealed off bigger to SL and make SGC start area bigger so no camping. Ideally I would love to see at least 3 types of play at the SGC __________________

The Soldiers would charge far too often and turn on their usual allies for easier kills, the Commando would stalk the map edges but in the end have a fairly unfair game as they more than most require distance from the enemy that their team normally provides, the scientist would be the scientist as always - find a hole, drop a turret and poison anything stupid enough to get close, preferably a hole round a corner so that the turret isn't range-able and will be walked into unknown-ingly. >.> you did ask. __________________

apart from that, yeah, I see the logistical nightmare in trying to release patches every 2 weeks and a map a month, so more that that would seem impossible. __________________

Seriously. They are not the same.
The run the same engine, they run the same models, but the maps are
designed differently. They COULD port, but not just "transfer." It
would require some work, as MMO maps are designed for MMO, and TPS maps
are designed for TPS.
I stand: SGR AND SGW ARE STILL NOT THE SAME! __________________
