Default No sound and cant use my USB Controller

Ive updated my drivers as requested but still there is no sound, and can I not use a controller to play this game as there only seems to be controls for a keyboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have more than 2 speakers? If so, than that is the reason for not having any sound, SGR currently only supports stereo, but no setup with more than 2 speakers.
As a workaround, use your operating system's control panel and change your sound settings to "stereo" when you play. That should at least give you sound back until this glitch is fixed.

No clue about plug&play devices, a dev needs to answer that.

Heres an idea, why dont you add a controller as a way to control the game peeps, its dead easy and all PC games come with this function, so far I have to say im not impressed with the game at all, good job it wasnt £40 or else id be asking for a refund and raging like a bull!!!!

I hope that's right. A little boring without sound.

Hi Guffaw,

Try setting your audio settings to a two-channel configuration instead of surround sound. That should get you sound in the game until we've found why some setups work and others don't.

In windows 7 you can find those settings in:

Cotrol Panel
->Hardware and Sound
->Sound

There you select your default speakers (the ones with the green check mark) and click on configure.
A new dialog opens, and you can select stereo as an option.

Hopefully this will solve your issues

Actually that is not as easy as you may think.
The direct-input system for joysticks/pads, is pretty annoying.

With G35 you can only choose 7.1 in the configuration dialog.

Me sad. (;_;)

It seems to be a common problem:

Sadly I don't have any solution for you. (;_;)
