umm, i've noticed that the XP you
get from a match is equal to: "Team Bonus + 2xPoints". team bonus is
+100 for loss, +160 for win, or at least that's the consensus.
back to the topic... i just got Lieutenant Colonel with my Soldier at 50767 exp, and i KNOW i didn't have it somewhere within 50500 exp - 50600 exp, (checked my stats a bit before then, that's where it was). more updates to come, Goa'uld and Jaffa are both really close to Dis'Renek! ( forgot to check in when my Goa'uld got Renek and my Ashrak got Dis'Renek... sorry! ) __________________

ya, the equation seems to have
changed a bit from when i first started looking at it, i believe points
are now factored in, where are before they were not (i had several game
with the same exp but different point values), i think i may need to
start collecting new data to see how it functions now

aight, both my Jaffa AND my Goa'uld
reached Dis'Renek, and i made sure to carefully mark their xp gains the
match they achieved it. Jaffa got it at 34555 exp, earned 184 exp that
match; Goa'uld got it at 34718 exp, earned 220 exp that match

Edit: Oh, and I think it's great work - I find the next ranking on SGR Stats very encouraging and think this Thread was a great idea. __________________

The rank they were discussing above was marked as 'Warm' using the Dev Scale so they were refining it to try and get 'Very Hot'. __________________
