no no...
i know why your wanting to keep cannon -- we are saying in this case break the cannon / story line and place hammonds plate on the desk and some pictures etc.. if you put the ability to read a caption or something using the Action key people will understand ohh. its here as a memorial not part of the SGR Storyline I understand wanting to keep Cannon because it goes along with the game play - I just suggested this to do something nice for Don Davis

Could, on a wall, have, a large poster
of- USAF George Hammond,(ship and/or the general) when you click on it,
you get in memory of Don. S. David, and a few coments, or other as
sagested above.

Hey guys I think that theres only one
realistic way for developers now and its to add his picture in his
office (now Carters)...it can be made easy (I hope). And its better than
a picture of Hammond/ship/. Theres one great thing that it neednt to be
realistic picture...cause developers of SGW already created his
character (seen on one of screenshots). So it can be easy made in SGR
graphic style. I loved Don Davis and when I first heart that the ship
is called Hammond I was happy, because he was very important character
of SG1 for me.

I agree that a plaque and a picture in the SGC map would be a good memorial. I don't think you would really want a big canon breaking gesture though, it's something that would be there forever so you want it to have a nice sentiment without being too obtrusive. Something that you'll see and think about without it becoming an every day part of the map so that when you notice it again a month later it is still a nice memorial.
