How do you get any of this to work?

No matter what I type in the command box from the commands suggested in this thread, the game just crashes as soon as I press [Enter]!

And when you say [map name] after adminchangemap do you mean Earth, SGC or DM-SGC as an example? All of which crash for me!

Everybody wants to have a little offline fun once in a while, so I think someone needs to document all this in an in-depth step by step for those of us who don't have the patience for trial and error!

Supremeaaron said he was doing something along these lines a while back, but nothing came to fruition, unless I missed it.

so yeah definitely this map needs to be amap for the game they already have part of it done! lol

whoa :O. This is at the login map ? That is awesome i never knew that you could do such a thing i though it was a pretty background. Nice find and nice screenies

Make sure you run your game as administrator, and that you open the maps with the SGBgame.exe (if its not set to it by default) the console command to switch to the login screen is "Open Login" which should move you to it, other map names are located in the maps folder (Example: "Open Leonops-Court").

Now the "Open DM-SGC" console command crashes my game the moment i load it, and if you think about it the map's name is rather interesting, DM stands for Death Match, not Team Death Match (like TDM-Amarna), this map is likely an unnecessary file and probably crashes because the game is not set up for FFA.

I know right! The Hatak up close its HUGE, seems like a slight waste of resources not to use it, given its size it would be possible to make a close quarters section inside of it with a ring platform leading down near the gate, as well as perhaps another ring platform leading to the pyramid (pyramid would need a few tunnels and say... a sarcophagus room or burial chamber [resources for both already exist]), plus an additional two ring transporters leading to locations yet to be created.

I think I was told no when I was working on it (but just up so can't fully remember).

Someone needs to get a good view of the Alkesh on Lenops too.

EDIT: Try out the "changesize" command. Ex "changesize .5" (no quotes)

I haven't been to Leonops yet because I only just got it working (I was trying to get in through the front door instead of the back door so to speak )

But I did test the unaccessable chambers on Armarna and discovered that they do infact have invisible walls over the openings so you can't get up there normally. Thank god for Ghosting eh!

Well I finally went to Leonops to take a closer look at the Alkesh and;





















I couldn't find the Deathgliders that are also flying around on the map usually so they must just be textures moving in the sky.

The reason you get stuck behind the gate is because there is a drop off.

I took a video of me on the login map. I looked all around the first area, at both flyers, the hatak, and the pyramid. I also managed to be a Jaffa in third person (had to console switchteam then changeclass then suicide after, was also playing with behindview but not sure if it changed anything).

huh, ive never tried with negative gravity adjustment, whenever i change it even slightly i fly staright up and never come back, and also guys, changing it to .5 .7 etc. wont do much, in the '( )' things it says 'FLOAT' which means a solid number, no decimal points, however if it says 'INT' its integer, meaning decimal points actually do something

Yeah, he must have. An Integer (INT) is a whole number, a Floating Point Number (FLOAT) is a decimal.

Positive numbers mean gravity makes you fall up! Try a value of 500, be very careful not to jump or leave the ground, then launch a nade. It curves up into the sky! Negative values pull you down like normal. I think the game default is somewhere around -900. -75 lets you super jump! It won't work well on Leonops though because of the invisible ceiling. If you use ghost mode you can go through the ceiling, switch to walk mode and walk on thin air!

No, they're really high up, but they're there. Ghost up for about two minutes, or set grav to negative.
