Poisons fine if you ask me, jaffa can
shrug it off and it's dangerous against gao'uld. Which is about right
for a class intended to kill gao'uld and be killed by jaffa .
From a SL pov: Turrets are fine and balanced (for the most part) when there is only the one scientist. The problem is when there are multiple turrets 4 or 5 turrets make things very painful, it's also a problem when a scientist enters a fight and drops a turret somewhere high unseen. From a SGC pov: Turrets KS a ridiculous amount, it really is rather frustrating . It is important in my opinion that they are fine tuned rather than nerfed. Since a full on nerf will make sci's pretty much just a healing class, which blows for them since healing is uncredited. K/D isn't everything but a lot of people only play the class that gives them the highest K/D.

No. There is a turret turn around speed, as ashrak I've killed lots of scis standing by turrets then circle strafed turrets without getting hit and BSed them. Ditto for when i failed at turret stabbing. There is most def a turn around speed and it's quite slow @ close range |
