I played World of Warcraft a while back.

State of the Art, Nilbog, Curse and Glamour were the top european guilds. None of those were 25+. Some were 18+.

I played in Glamour for two years, and so did several of my friends. None of us were even above 18 at the time. Still, we were top 5 in the world for the majority of our kills.

Really? I've seen on numerous occasions that 30+ get provoked by such statements.

Edit: and yeah, I probably am socially inept. However, that's not relevant for the discussion.

When someone acknowledges that the majority of people are within a certain age range, then moves to criticise those people within that age range they're either deliberately or ignorantly inciting those people to respond defensively ... and often most people present a good offensive post to defend themselves.

Yes, on a 30+ board, insulting people around the age of 20 wouldn't have provoked much of a response because those people would not have been present, but to do so here on a 13+ forum while actually addressing the people you're insulting is just not appropriate behaviour - despite the fact that ageism in this case and the arguments to support it are inherently flawed because age is not a synonymous measure of experience.

If a 20 year old were to post something similarly derogative about 30 somethings, no matter whether they responded or not, I'm sure even if they for some reason weren't insulted, they would appreciate that the comments were unfriendly and in bad taste.

Moving on - Who are you people!?

Look calm down people so there are people that are 20 or under, just calm down.

You're calling others socially inept?! Bloody ****... The fact so many people disagree with you must indicate something, right? Either you're wrong, or the rest of the Universe is wrong... Or there is no right or wrong, and we're all trying to find an objective reason in a Universe of subjectivity, but that's another discussion.

Oh, and if people under the age of 25 are so immature comparatively, why do most of your words get censored and the majority of other people's don't?

Anyway, I shan't get sucked into this any further.
