For example I was playing as SGC, we were moving as a group and I advanced to check the next corridor and ran into two Goa'uld and a Jaffa. I fired my grenade into the Goauld and retreated to the rest of the team but by the time I found 'Incoming!' to warn them I was bringing the enemy in so we could waste them in a crossfire the enemy was already in range. Like I say, I'm sure I'll get used to it shortly. So far I am still liking it. I've played as both SGC and SL and enjoyed both. Teamwork is important and I have heard others grumble about getting wasted when they don't work as a team but I have always been big on teamwork so I am enjoying it. I often put in a supporting role for the team (supporting or suppressing fire, healing, intel gathering, etc) and get skewed K/D or points so I'm very much enjoying the new assist points.

They broke the need a heal button when
they changed it, so if you want healers to see your location you need to
hit V 9 even though it says advance right or whatever it puts up the
green V on the compass.

Im liking the new map on DM mode. Not sure whats changed about goauld though. Didnt have much problem dispatchin em on soldier. As for the arena mode it really doesnt quite work with current game mechanics. If anything it just highlights the problems with lack of autobalance. Not really keen on it.

As a Goauld this is helpful, if you close far enough before attacking someone the only way they are getting away is if they or someone else kills you or they can use the environment to get away (round a corner, off a balcony, etc). As SGC it makes it more important to keep the Goauld at range as they are more effective at killing you when they do close. BigShegger, I mean you, Amarna, yesterday Good games. Quote:
It takes a bit of getting used to v1 but at least it's not on the second page like Incoming!, Cover Me, Ashrak, etc. As SGC I have particularly found myself shouting for a heal when I see an Ashrak approaching one of my team mates. Shooting at the Ashrak usually alerts them to the danger - but not if you are in the middle of reloading. Still getting used to it.
